Q:  What is the difference between VRBO and booking with Tropic Terrace - SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals?
A:  VRBO/ HomeAway are advertising sites. SunCoast is the property management company that manages everything from marketing to maintenance and housekeeping for Tropic Terrace. SunCoast advertises on VRBO/HomeAway and other sites to get our condos the most visibility.


Q:  I tried to book a reservation online but it gave me an error. How do I know my reservation is secured?
A:  Please call SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals at 727-623-9010 to make sure that your reservation is secure.


Q:  What is Tropic Terrace - SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals cancellation policy?
A:  You may cancel within the first 24 hours of booking the reservation with a full refund. Rental payments are refundable up until 60 days prior to the reservation. We are unable to offer refunds on reservations cancelled within 60 days of the check-in date.


Q:  What is the minimum stay?
A:  The minimum stay varies. We offer homes that are 2 night and 3 night minimum stay. Please call SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals to find out the minimum stay for the home you are booking.


Q:  What is the difference between a hotel and Tropic Terrace?
A:  All of our vacation condos are owned by private home-owners and can be preferable to hotels for a number of reasons. They are typically more comfortable, offer kitchens for preparing meals and are more accommodating to those travelling with children. 


Q:  How do I pay for a reservation?
A:  Tropic Terrace – SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express. We also accept electronic checks for reservations booked more than 60 days in advance.
 

Q:  I want to stay next year in the same unit. Am I automatically booked for next year?
A:  No, Tropic Terrace - SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals doesn't guarantee and book unless you let us know. If you want to book ahead of time, please, e-mail or call us.


Q:  Can I bring my pets?

A:  Tropic Terrace does not allow pets.


Q:  How do I get the keys for entry to my unit?
A:  Each condo has an updated keyless entry. When you book your reservation, you will receive a code to access the home.

   

FEATURES & AMENITIES

  

Q:  Is smoking allowed in the condo?
A:  Smoking is prohibited in the condos. There are places on the property were you can smoke. We ask you to be courteous towards other guests when you smoke.


Q:  Does the condo come with linens and towels, or do I need to bring my own?
A:  The condo will be equipped with all the basic necessities. All the beds will be made with fresh linens and bath towels will be provided. If you would like beach towels, we recommend bringing those with you.


Q:  What items can I expect to find in the home?
A:  All of our condos are equipped with cable, WiFi, and a fully equipped kitchen. Tropic Terrace - SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals also provides a few items to get you started, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper. If there is something specific that you require, please make sure you bring it with you.


Q:  Is there a restaurant on site?

A:  No. Tropic Terrace is walking distance to many fabulous restaurants on Treasure Island. Please visit our Area Information page to see some of our favorites.


Q:  Do I have to pay for parking?

A:  Parking is free. You are limited to one space per unit. Upon entering your condo, you will see a parking pass to display in the window of your vehicle. 

HOUSEKEEPING & MAINTENANCE

  

Q:  Upon leaving can I clean the condo myself, rather paying for your cleaning services?
A:  No. Guests are not allowed to clean after their own stay. Our housekeepers meet very strict guidelines and are required to clean the condo after each guest vacates.


Q:  Is there daily housekeeping available?

A:  Daily housekeeping is not provided in the room rate. The cleaning fee charge is to have the unit cleaned upon your departure.  We do have laundry facilities on-site for your convenience if you need to wash your linens or towels.


Q:  We've run out of toilet paper. Can you bring us some more?

A:  Tropic Terrace - SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals provides a starter kit of supplies only. If you think you will need more than what is provided, please make sure to bring some with you. There is also a Walgreens and a Publix close to Tropic Terrace.


Q:  We can't get the air conditioner/internet/TV/etc. working. Are there instructions in the house?
A:  If no instructions are found in the house or if you need further assistance please contact SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals by e-mail or phone. 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

  

Q:  What is check-in time?
A:  Check-in is at 3 PM and guests can arrive anytime after. 


Q:  Do you allow early check-ins?
A:  An early check-in is dependent on whether or not the housekeeper has time to fully clean the home before your arrival. If guests are checking out the same day that your reservation begins, an early check-in is not allowed as it will not allow the housekeeper enough time to fully prepare the home for you.


Q:  What is check out time?
A:  Check-out is at 10 AM.


Q:  Can I get a late checkout?

A:  Late check-out is available if we do not have another reservation that night. There is a fee (plus taxes) associated.  Please call SunCoast Beach Vacation Rentals for more details.
